Overview

This is a 5.5-inch 4-pin wire pigtail with a Deutsch DT female connector and bare leads. It is compatible with any of our Stage Series products with a backlight feature.

The red wire connects to the positive supply, and the black wire connects to negative or common ground. Tap the blue wire for the backlight to your desired vehicle function. They yellow wire is not used.

Like all Diode Dynamics products, this product is backed by a 3-year warranty.

  1. can I basically use this harness to connect both my pods & then simply run one single set of wires up to my light controller? (Spod wireless) my thoughts are that this harness would be easier than having to try to tie the wires from both lights together before running them to the controller will this also work on the ss3's that I"ve got for ditch lights? using the same controller, obviously
    Absolutely! Keep in mind that when using the splitters, the outputs aren't able to be controlled individually, so you'll only be able to power those pods in unison.

  2. I’m installing fog lights on my bumper bar and was wondering if the splitter will span both connectors at a 12” separation
    The length of the connector allows for the ability to mount the pods approximately 14" apart.

  3. What splitter or what can I use to run ss3 no backlight to ss1 with backlight if I have a 3 way harness? Or better off running separate harness no splitter
    For those scenarios, we do recommend running two separate harnesses. One 2-pin harness for the non-backlit SS3s, and one 4-pin harness for the SSC1.

  4. Can I connect SSC3 and SSC1 together on one wire harness if I use with the Deutsch DT 4-Pin Splitter Wire?
    Yes, but only If you are using our Backlit/4-Pin DT SS3!

  5. Can this be used to connect two SS5 Pro light pods?
    This can certainly be used for our SS5s, as these are each rated at up to 20 amps.

  6. What is the length of the 2 legs before the Y? i.e. how far apart can 2 lights be spaced and still connected to 1 input? thanks !
    The length of the connector before the Y is approximately 7.5", so you should be able to put the pods about 14" apart at the connectors.
